How to use Nolvadex 20mg tablets.

Study the pharmacist’s Drug Guide before beginning to use tamoxifen and every time you refill it. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.

Taking this drug by mouth with or without food, usually once or twice a day for five years, or as instructed by your doctor. Regular doses greater than 20 milligrams are typically split in half and taken twice a day, morning, and evening, or as advised by the doctor. If you are using a liquid, carefully weigh the dosage using a special measurement device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not have the right dosage.

Symptoms include elevated bone pressure, high tumour growth, or new tumours. These signs generally go away smoothly. In any case, report these signs to the doctor immediately.

Tell the doctor straight away if the condition is getting worse (e.g. fresh breast lumps).

Important warnings!

For Women with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) and Women at High Risk for Breast Cancer: Severe and life-threatening incidents associated with Nolvadex 20mg (tamoxifen citrate) in a risk-reduction environment (women at high risk for cancer and women with DCIS) include uterine malignancies, stroke, and pulmonary embolism.

The prevalence rates for these incidents is estimated from the NSABP P-1 research (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY-Clinical Studies-Reduction of Breast Cancer Incidence of High-Risk Women).

Any strokes, pulmonary embolisms, and uterine malignancies were deadly.
