If a game gets canceled due to weather or darkness, coaches must pay half of the umpire’s fee before starting the 2nd inning (not applicable for games off Dom Aitro or Annex fields).

Rules

If a game is called off due to weather or darkness before starting, umpires will receive half their fee back; this does not apply to games outside East Shore fields or Dom Aitro. If it is rescheduled and umpires are scheduled again for that game on a different date, their coach must pay them their full fee as expected.

Time limits in league play vary between 3 1/2 innings for 6-inning games and 4 1/2 innings for 7-inning ones. If a home team finds itself trailing when this limit expires, they must bat in the bottom of that inning to finish their innings of play.
