Start 2023 off right by attending Boston’s biggest New Year celebration, featuring bedtime-friendly family fireworks on Boston Common at 7pm, an amazing pyrotechnic show over Copley Square, and spectacular Boston Harbor fireworks across North End Waterfront and Seaport – not forgetting tons of family activities, ice sculptures created by world-class artists, plus lots of pyrotechnic displays from Boston Harbor! Plus family oriented activities including bedtime-friendly family fireworks by 7pm!
At this family-oriented event, children are invited to wear costumes and participate in the trunk-or-treat. Children can collect treats from participating vehicles and enter age category prizes – such as carload passes to theater performances in 2024! Additionally, decorated pumpkins may also be brought along by families to enter prize drawings for special prizes.
First Night Boston is Boston’s premiere New Year’s Eve celebration, featuring a large parade from Copley Square to the Common, live music performances, the People’s Procession through Copley Square and over the Common, waterfront ice sculptures and bedtime-friendly fireworks from Boston Common’s ballfield at 7pm (great for families with young children) as well as spectacular fireworks over Boston Harbor from North End Waterfront and Seaport at midnight.
At Brighten Brewing’s event will feature vendors and food trucks. Beer and wine sales will benefit Copley Outreach Center; an ideal opportunity for neighbors to socialize. There will also be corn hole tournaments and euchre competitions as well as board games – there will even be an exhibit of community art! Proceeds of this sale will support this cause!
Copley Car Show parking will be free; please park in either the lot behind the fire station or Walterville. In addition, valet parking may be available at an additional fee.

The Copley Car Show is an enjoyable event that raises funds for local organizations, with attendees enjoying beer & wine while raising money for Copley Outreach Center. Music will also be performed by local bands at this free-to-attend event; raffle prizes include gifts and cash.
Parking spaces can be found at both Central and Dartmouth Street Garages as well as on-street. Walterville Elementary School and Hummel Funeral Home public lots may also provide ample space. Central and Dartmouth Street garages charge a daily rate of $15 or $10 with validation from Copley Place retailers such as Legal Sea Foods, Parm, REV’d Indoor Cycling.
